Day 1: Arrival at JKIA

On arrival you will be met by the company representative who will introduce themselves and welcome you into the country. Then you shall proceed to your hotel of stay for the night where you will be briefed about your safari.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli

You will be met by your tour guide on arrival at the airport and immediately you start your journey to Amboseli the ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. It also boasts of the best view of the African giant Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will be arriving late in the afternoon and on this day you will not be going for game drive. Dinner and overnight at

Day 3: Amboseli

Early morning game drive in search of cats and other game. Amboseli is best known for its elephant populations and large herds, including some impressively tusked bulls are drawn to a series of large, lush swamplands. This is a place of wide dry plains, where the horizons stretch into the furthest distance and become one with the sky. Break for lunch and later go for a pm game drive. Dinner overnight at

Day 4: Amboseli – Namanga – Arusha – Lake Manyara

We depart very early after breakfast heading the Kenya-Tanzania border. We arrive at the border where we clear with immigration on both sides getting our passport stamped (please remember to to mention that you shall be crossing back to Kenya through another border). We change over vehicles and proceed to Lake Manyara passing via Arusha. This will be a 4 hour journey to get you to Lake Manyara Serena, picnic lunch en-route. In Lake Manyara you find a narrow belt of acacia woodland which is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. It is rich in birdlife and more than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration. Activities: game drives, cultural tours and forest walks. Later in afternoon delve into a game drive till around 6pm and then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro

We depart immediately after breakfast and head to Ngorongoro where upon arrival we descend into the crater for game drive. You will break for lunch since you will be carrying the picnic lunch boxes. Ngorongoro Crater is a collapsed volcano creating an incredible natural amphitheater teeming with all of the African big game. Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti

We depart immediately after breakfast to head to Serengeti. Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, visiting a historic museum where what is believed to be the first human skull was discovered arriving for a late lunch and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Later back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at

Day 7: Serengeti

You will find the Serengeti to be endless rolling grasslands criss-crossed with shallow forested valleys, a virtual play home to millions of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and a number of larger predators, making this one of the world’s most famous wildlife vistas. Full Day Game Drives: Utilize the full day game drives to seek out the big 5 and catch up with the mega herd of wildebeest and zebra migrating northwards towards Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The varied terrain from volcanic grasslands, vast plains, rocky outcrops, rivers, volcanoes, and forests means there is so much to discover. Other than game drives in the vehicle, one can opt to go for a balloon safari (optional and at own cost).

Day 8: Serengeti

Enjoy our full day in the Serengeti National Park enjoying the beauty of the park and its restless creatures. The Serengeti National Park is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth-the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds is also impressive. The parks covers 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km), it’s larger than

Connecticut, with at most a couple hundred vehicles driving around. Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and the savannah vegetation rich in wildlife and birdlife. This makes it one of the best parks in the world to view wildlife and birdlife.

Day 9: Serengeti

Full day spent in Serengeti exploring the vastness of the wide ranged savannah plains doing morning and afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Birds too can be found in this hub of great wilderness. The wildebeest can be followed as they embark on the start of their journey towards the Masai Mara.

Enjoy you last day here having seen lots of wildlife and enough photos for great memories to share with friends and relatives.

Day 10: Serengeti– Masai Mara

Depart Serengeti after breakfast to go and meet our crew again at the Tanzania-Kenya border. After we are done with immigration, it is time to say bye to your Tanzania guide and rejoin with your Kenyan guide once more. Day 11: Masai Mara

The Mara has come to be one of the most visited reserve in the world and given its population of wildlife and birdlife, it has its reason to boast about the numbers that come to visit. It is due to the popularity accorded it has become the resident shooting destination for the popular documentary “THE BIG CAT DIARY”. On this day you will do morning and afternoon game drives with a break in the mid-morning where you can enjoy a good book OR you can choose to go for a full day game drive with picnic lunches. Activities are often in plenty and you can decide to visit a masai village (own cost). Also optional is a balloon safari which can be pre-booked as it takes place early in the morning with champagne breakfast being served after landing (optional and at an extra own cost) one of the most fascinating adventures in the Mara. Day 12: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Depart in the mid-morning after breakfast to head back to Nairobi. You will be arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon and you will be dropped off at the airport for your next destination. This marks a lovely end of a well spent time in both Kenya and Tanzania and one of the best itineraries one can think off and one that you shall always remember.
